SiteBirds Affiliate Program Terms
By creating a SiteBirds partner account you agree to these terms. They are designed to keep the program fair and sustainable for everyone.
1. Commission
- Rate: 20% of every paid invoice from a customer you referred, for as long as their subscription remains active.
- Cookie window: 90 days. The last affiliate code present in the visitor's
sb_refcookie at the moment of paid checkout receives attribution. - Currency: EUR. We do not currently pay in other currencies.
2. Payouts
- Payouts are processed manually each month for balances of €50 or more.
- Method: SEPA bank transfer by default. PayPal or Wise on request.
- You are responsible for any taxes due in your country. If you are VAT-registered, send us a valid invoice; otherwise we treat the commission as inclusive.
- Refunded or charged-back invoices reverse the corresponding commission.
3. Prohibited promotion methods
The following will result in suspension and forfeiture of unpaid commissions:
- Self-referral. You cannot earn commission on your own SiteBirds subscription. Sub-clients you build for as an agency are fine — that is exactly what this program is for.
- Spam. No unsolicited email, comment spam, forum spam, or messaging-app blasts.
- Trademark bidding. No paid search ads on "SiteBirds" or close variants.
- Cookie stuffing or fake clicks. Any attempt to inflate clicks via iframes, redirects, or bots.
- Misleading claims about pricing, features, or guarantees that are not on sitebirds.com.
- Cashback or rebate offers that effectively rebate the commission to the customer.
4. Right to terminate
SiteBirds may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken. We will tell you why. Earned, unpaid commissions for non-disputed referrals will still be paid out.
5. Changes to the program
We may update commission rates, the cookie window, or these terms with at least 30 days notice by email to your registered address. Continued use of the program after that date counts as acceptance.
6. No employment relationship
You are an independent partner, not an employee, agent, or franchisee of SiteBirds. You may not enter into agreements on our behalf.
7. Liability
The program is provided "as is". SiteBirds' total liability under this agreement is capped at the commission paid to you in the 12 months prior to the claim.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be brought before the competent court in Amsterdam.
