SiteBirds is an online service that lets you build, edit and host a business website with the help of artificial intelligence (AI). SiteBirds is a trade name of Degero, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 99427303, based in Krommenie, the Netherlands. In these terms we refer to ourselves as "SiteBirds" or "we"; the customer is referred to as "you".
These terms apply to any use of SiteBirds and to every subscription you take out with us. By creating an account, starting the trial or taking out a subscription, you agree to these terms.
Based on your answers, SiteBirds builds a website with text, pages and a contact form, and hosts it for you. You can change the site by typing, in plain language, what you want to adjust. Depending on your plan, additional features are available, such as a chatbot, a blog, an online shop (Pro only), analytics and priority support.
Text and images are generated in part by AI. You are responsible for reviewing and finalising the content of your website before you publish it.
You can try SiteBirds free for 7 days. During the trial you can build and preview your website. No credit card is required to start. If you do not choose a paid plan within the trial period, your website is not published and your data is deleted after a while (see the privacy statement). You are only charged once you choose a paid plan.
All prices include VAT. The current prices are:
On a monthly plan a custom domain name is not included and is offered separately. On a yearly plan one custom domain name is included. There are no setup fees.
Payment is handled by our payment provider (Stripe). The subscription renews automatically: a monthly plan each month and a yearly plan each year, at the then-current rate, until you cancel. If you do not pay on time, we may temporarily take your website offline until payment is received.
You can cancel at any time in your account. A monthly plan can be cancelled each month and then ends at the close of the current month. A yearly plan runs until the end of the paid year and is not renewed afterwards if you have cancelled. Amounts already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires otherwise. When your subscription ends, we take your website offline.
We may adjust our prices. We will announce any price change for your subscription in advance by email. If you disagree with the change, you can cancel before it takes effect.
You warrant that the content you publish is accurate and does not infringe the rights of others or breach the law. You will not use SiteBirds for unlawful, misleading or harmful content. We may suspend or remove content or accounts that breach this.
We do our best to keep the service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, outages or causes beyond our control may temporarily limit the service.
You may use the text and images created for your website for your own business. The SiteBirds software, templates and platform remain our property. Any material you supply yourself remains yours.
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the twelve months before the event. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damage or lost profit. This limitation does not apply in the case of intent or deliberate recklessness on our part.

We may amend these terms. We will announce important changes in advance. The most current version is always available on this page.
